Small 30cm hole gut buster net holds more than enough for my gypsy cobs & slows them down.
I wanted something that was going to slow my horse down, but not totally frustrate him. I only have one horse, and I still like to feed twice a day. I have a couple other hey nets but they are much larger in capacity for a few or more flakes, so when I only put 6 pounds of hay in them, the net would dangle and swing a lot. Perfect size capacity, and perfect size holes. I also like the fact that there are no knots which makes it easier on their lips and teeth.
Thank you for these great hayfeeders, i have horses that are prone to being little piglets when it comes to food, these hay nets definitely slow them down and have saved me on wasting hay
I have been using competitor’s hay nets for YEARS and recently ordered 2 Gutzbusta XL nets for their advertised ease of filling and square net design. As advertised, these nets are SO easy to fill (even with my 3-strand bales) and my horses are able to eat the hay all the way down thanks to the square netting. The only thing I would change would be the rope used to close the nets - I like the competitor’s rope material better because of the ease of untying knots and the hoggle allows easy daisy chaining. Hopefully Gutzbusta can adapt something similar! I will definitely be purchasing more and probably changing out the rope myself.
I think I now have 12!!! Various different gutza hay nets. They are definitely the best out there. They last ages and perfect for slowing the horses down
