Got my two hay savers set up with not much trouble but will say one lid does not have a hole to lock the lid in. My baby Gypsy Cob got his taken away as he swore it was a new play toy. We will re introduce. Easy to fill and move around especially with the tractor as put in shelter shed if going to rain. Very happy with them.
I bought two small 4cm and two small 3cm knotless hay nets and they are brilliant! Easy to fill with a very wide opening, kind on your hands and fit 2-3 biscuits easily! I’m about to buy more as it doesn’t get much better than gutzbuster hay nets!
I bought both the knotted and unknotted so i could compare the twine, have not actually used the knotted yet but I really like the unknotted and feel that one has less chance of harming their teeth and it is very easy to putone of my whole square bales in . i do not know if my bales are not standard size but there is extra room in the net
Been using my medium haynet for a few weeks. East to fill. I only use 3 biscuits of hay at the moment . It doesn’t fly off into the fence anymore. I’ve left it on the ground and my horse ate out of it immediately.
The net is very good quality, I love the way it's made, it's easy to fill, I prefer it a lot more than the string closed ones. I got the 4cm openings for my cows, I think I the 6cm might have been better for them, but they're eating everything. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
