My horses have always chewed holes literally within 24hrs of every other net I have bought. This is my second Roy d bale with 3 horses not one hole made. Perfect 🤩
Very happy but we don’t need these for gutsy horses so the 6 cm are great but the wide filling gap and the robustness make these ideal for our dressage horses. We love ad lib hay here so we are saving time as we can fill these so full. Very impressed want people to know they are not only for gutsy horse
Strong good quality hay net. Easy fill with a wide opening to put two biscuits at a time.
My rating is for suitability only, the product looks really well made and of really strong purposeful design.
In NZ calves have a Nait Ear Tag put in there ear from a few days old and is in for life ( legal requirement)
With in a couple of days of putting hay net out one of our calves had hooked his Nait tag in the 4cm net and tore his ear open from top to bottom leaving the tag in the net. Was a really great idea to try but I have removed from there pen.
This is not a negative review but just a heads up on what can happen.
Thanks Aaron
Great heavy duty quality with a big opening to put a full bale in. Thank you. Also if you were to give me a discount I will order ore Extra Large nets plus one sized for a 4' x 8' square 1400lb bles. If the jumbo works as good as extra large I will buy more.
I’ve been using the Gutzbusta knotless haynets (large size) for the last two winters in my IBC feeders and honestly couldn’t be happier with them. I secure them with two clips at the base, and they stay in place perfectly.
They’re incredibly easy to use — the wide opening makes filling them quick and hassle-free, which is a huge bonus, especially in winter when everything feels like hard work. The knotless design feels much safer too, and my horses took to them straight away.
They slow feeding down just enough to mimic more natural grazing without frustrating the horses, and I’ve definitely noticed a big reduction in hay wastage. Since my horses live out all year round, anything that makes feeding more efficient and less messy is a win — and these really deliver.
Overall, a really well-designed, practical product that makes day-to-day horse care that bit easier. Would absolutely recommend.
Amazing. Where have they been all my life. Efficient and easy to fill. Ponies love them. No more eating all their hay in 2 hours. They are still grazing 6/7 hours later. No more hangry ponies as I gather them in to refill.
I am so pleased with my nets. They're so strong and wide so they're easy to fill. I will be purchasing a couple more next payday. Thank you.
I absolutely love the rope, and my horses seem to appreciate it too
Feeding a horse that is both obesity and ulcer prone is a challenge. A lot of hay nets are also either too big or too small. This one is perfect! I couldn’t believe how big the medium actually was. I can fill it up and it’ll last nearly 48 hours giving her constant access to food, but the extra small holes make it so she really does need to work for it and slow down. This has made her transition to stall life much easier as we have moved to an area where pasture isn’t an option.
Will be buying more for sure.
I have a range of sizes and find them all very easy to use and work well, Love them
We have the hole hay bale and the 4x4 round bale nets in the knot less and find them durable and easy to fit! Plus the slow down the wastage ten fold!
Love my Gutzbusta nets, great quality and always delivered very quickly.
Super little hay net for single hay slice. Ideal for weighing out small quantities.
I had to switch to the larger bales, and this is working great in my Hay Feeder for two of my horses. They share it and the hay stays in the feeder with this net. Easy to fill and place in feeder.
I’ve been using these hay nets for almost 2 years now. Prior to that I’ve used a lot of different brands. By far this one is hands-down, the best! I use them every single day outside in the weather in the sun in the rain. I have horses that are pretty aggressive with their nets and they have not put one single hole in any of them. I currently have about eight horses using the nets daily.I especially love how the newest ones have more room and a bigger opening to load. I was actually able to tie them onto my pipe corral so that I just push the hay right into the net. I can fit about four big flakes of Bermuda and it only takes about 10 seconds to stuff the net. I have purchased over 30 nets since I started feeding with them.
Finally a slow feeder that actually slows my mare down. Others she manages to still hoover the hay in 15-30mins. The gutzbusta keeps her going for over 2hours. It is sturdy as well. I will definitely be buying more.
These hay nets work well for our Horse Boarding operation. We use them in our quarantine buildings, but they can be used anywhere. I can put 2 small bales of hay in each bag, or part of a large hay bale - which is actually much more than 2 small bales. In addition, we built hay boxes with a floor, for the bag, so we hang the bag up high using Carabiner clips, AND in addition, the bag actually sits in a hay box that we built. They sit in the hay box about 3-4 feet off the ground. See photo.
