My herd is out most of the time but come into stalls and hang under the fans during the hottest parts of the days here in Florida. They don’t need the extra calories of a lot of ad lib hay but I want to keep them happily munching while they’re in.. and the 3/4” hole hay bags work great! They’re really well made- don’t see any holes happening in the near future and it stretches their rations to keep them nibbling for quite a while. Would like to buy one more so each of my horses has one.

I Love the deluxe knottless hay bags. I have 6 and some are 3 years old and going strong with daily use on my track. I rmusually get the large size but have just bought the extra large. My only comment is it only just fits a whole bale in. It's not a quick easy fit. I have 2 size of conventional bales at home and the larger ones don't fit. I have been putting the smaller ones in and they cutting the string on the bales once inside. I think they just need 10cm more width to fit a normal bale easily. This is in NZ 😊 the slow 2cm feeders are fantastic for my lot.
